Dr YJ Park
MBChB.
completed clinical rotations across Auckland’s major hospitals, along with a short placement in rural Northland. These experiences reinforced the value of primary preventative medicine and the importance of building long-term, trusting relationships with patients. Through my GPEP training, I aspire to become a medically thorough and compassionate General Practitioner.
My family and I migrated to New Zealand from Korea when I was four years old, and I’ve remained closely connected to my heritage, maintaining fluency in both the Korean language and culture.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy football and reading which helps me stay grounded and balanced.”
