Dr Shashi Bhuthoji
MBBS, FRNZCGP, Dip. Obst.
Shashi qualified as a Doctor in 1981, and worked extensively abroad before moving to New Zealand in 1994. She completed her Vocational Training in General Practice in 1999 and is a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. She has diplomas in Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology and is currently furthering her experience in Dermoscopy and Surgical techniques for skin cancer and melanomas.
Shashi enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has particular interest in Women’s Health, Preventative Medical and Skin Cancer diagnosis and surgery.
Shashi loves the outdoors – hiking, travelling, gardening, as well as books and music.
Shashi is available Tuesday to Friday
Dr Hind Al-Zubaidi
MB.ch.B, FRNZCGP, FRACGP, MNZSCM
Hind qualified as a doctor in 1986 and worked in different countries before moving to New Zealand.
Hind completed her vocational training and her Fellowship with Royal NZ college of general practitioners and Royal Australian college of general practitioners.
She has diploma in appearance medicine and she is a member of NZSCM.
Hind is available for a GP consultation on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am-2pm, with phone appointments from 7.30am-8.30am (ring reception to book these).
Dr Martin Hadler
MBChB. DCH. FRNZCUC
Martin has worked and lived on the North Shore since 1992 spending most of his time in the North Shore Emergency Department. In 2007 he his wife and son embarked upon an overseas adventure taking them to Ireland and Australia. During this time, he came to realize he enjoyed not only looking after those seriously ill but preventing them from becoming ill or injured in the first place. He has developed a passion for General Practice and treasures building a relationship with his patients and caring for them at whatever stage in their lives they are. Has had a life long love of sports and fitness and has been a team doctor for several teams and still is. Is on match day staff for Harbour Blues and All Blacks. Also interested in paediatrics and minor surgery.
He is a husband father and grandfather and looks forward to continuing to care for the people of the Northshore and beyond.

Dr YJ Park
MBChB.
Yj completed clinical rotations across Auckland’s major hospitals, along with a short placement in rural Northland. These experiences reinforced the value of primary preventative medicine and the importance of building long-term, trusting relationships with patients. Through my GPEP training, I aspire to become a medically thorough and compassionate General Practitioner.
My family and I migrated to New Zealand from Korea when I was four years old, and I’ve remained closely connected to my heritage, maintaining fluency in both the Korean language and culture.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy football and reading which helps me stay grounded and balanced.”

Simon Kukec
Nurse Prescriber
Simon has built an extensive career in nursing across New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom, with a strong background in emergency and urgent care settings. Much of his experience has been in fast-paced clinical environments, where he has developed a high level of skill in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of conditions.
Over time, Simon has developed a strong interest in general practice, valuing the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with patients and support them through all stages of their health journey. He is passionate about delivering patient-centred care, with a focus not only on treatment but also on education, prevention, and long-term wellbeing.
Simon brings a calm, thoughtful approach to his work and is known for his strong clinical judgement, empathy, and ability to connect with patients from all walks of life. He also enjoys supporting and mentoring other staff, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Outside of work, Simon values time with family and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
